Arsenal’s Exclusive Milled And Forged Receiver
Each SAM7SF receiver is milled from a hot-die hammer forged receiver blank by the Arsenal Co. of Bulgaria. Other milled-receiver AKs are machined from bar stock, but Arsenal’s hot-die hammer forging produces stronger and finer-grained steel. Internal voids and cooling deformations are eliminated by the 5-ton hammer forging process.

Each forged receiver blank requires over 5.5 hours of milling before assembly. This forging and milling process is complex and time-intensive, but Arsenal’s meticulous attention to detail delivers a receiver of unequalled strength, precision and durability.

FIME Group Enhanced Fire Control Group
Includes FM-922EUS, the Enhanced Fire Control Group (FCG) for AK- and RPK-based rifles with stamped receivers. FIME's Enhanced FCG includes a single-hook trigger, hammer, disconnector, disconnector springs.
FIME’s Enhanced Fire Control Group delivers shortened trigger travel with an extremely smooth and light trigger pull. To prevent lever misfires, the disconnector face makes full contact with the hammer. Further, the disconnector is engineered with an elongated tail, which makes a full stop on the rear trigger guard rivet and the hammer stop prevents the hammer from slamming on the trigger. With these two designs functioning together, it eliminates the “trigger slap” found in competing products.

Top Shelf AK I've been an AR and Made in America kind of guy for a long time and looked down on those who came to the range with an AK variant. They typically would have friends with, laugh and giggle upon taking it from the trunk of their car, when asked if they wanted to go downrange and setup a target they'd decline saying their fine...and then proceed to shoot the dirt 10-25 yards in front of them proclaiming it to be awesome. I would watch this between magazines of 5.56 through my rifle or pistol variant AR ringing steel from 100-500 yards. After seeing this happen numerous times on range trips, dealing with the great ammo depression of 2020 and seeing proposed bans on imported firearms I broke down and looked for the finest quality AK on the market and found universally it was this Bulgarian Hot Die Forged AKM variant. This level of old school machining is hard to find these days and according to Battlefield Las Vegas these receivers stand the test of time. so I ordered it up from Prepper, signed the paperwork at my FFL and got to work. With ammo previously at 30 cents a round it afforded me to stock up and get in some practice. when I ordered the rifle I also ordered a front sight tool, what a difference that can make huh? With Iron sights I can hit plates at 400 and with a spotter I can hit 500. With quality ammo at 100 yards this rife will shoot 2.5 inches average in my hands. Maybe you can squeeze more out of it than me. Bottom line is this is an awesome high quality AK, if I had more ammo I wouldn't be writing this long of a review for a rifle which is sold out and possibly never going to be imported again but I've got the time. I also purchased a NO-GO gauge and have been checking headspace every 500 rounds or so, after a couple thousand rounds its still as tight as day one and the barrels paint isn't bubbling so all good signs.
