 These high-tech receivers are ultra-light in weight while still being immensely strong and durable. The upper incorporates a Picatinny rail which aligns perfectly with the rail on the free float handguard, so the entire rifle is fully optics ready. All Flite Elite series rifles feature a Faxon 1 in 8 twist 16″ gunner profile barrel, a black nitride bolt carrier group. They also incorporate a Fostech .625 low profile gas block complimenting a mid-length gas system for ultra-smooth cycling and reliability, with less felt recoil and barrel rise. Fostech designed this rifle to hold up under even the heaviest of combat conditions while still being one of the lightest rifles on the market. As such, they are also ideal for law enforcement or security forces where dependability and ease of carrying are a must.
