Surprisingly great rifle. I'd read some mixed reviews online prior to purchase but decided to see for myself, and I'm not disappointed. I had 1 FTE (stovepipe) and 1 misfeed in the first 200 rounds, shooting brass cased GECO FMJ. The misfeed may have been a user/loader error. I used three different mags (all poly) after another owner suggested that's what they liked - Magpul, Bulgarian, and the factory-supplied X-Tech waffle mag - and it loaded and cycled them all fine. The rifle is very soft-shooting despite its light weight which made for easy follow-up shots. I assume the great factory brake is doing most of the heavy lifting. It's also far more accurate than I am with just a red-dot sight attached.
My only complaints are:
(1) The trigger is a bit mushy and I actually got it to stick a few times on reset. I found that I was "riding" the trigger with a slow reset after every shot and my M10X does NOT like that. It may need a little cleaning/oiling and I did notice it loosening up a little toward the end of the session, so I'll keep shooting it and see how it does.
(2) The safety throw lever is a little too short for me. I need just a bit more purchase to put it back on safe, even using a two-finger technique. Thinking about contacting M+M to see if other options are available.
(3) The finish on the aluminum receiver is weird. It's textured in a way that's invisible to the eye but you can feel a slight roughness to it. This must enhance grip in adverse conditions but it has this side effect that if you touch/rub it a lot with bare hands, like around the charging handle, it actually starts to turn white from your skin. Can't tell if it's from the post-machining bead blast or from the anodizing itself. It's hard to describe, and obviously has no impact on performance, but it's a strange departure from the aluminum AR receivers I'm used to handling.

- Zhukov stock
- Easy takedown
- Better than "average AK" accuracy
- Adjustable gas
- Outstanding build quality & materials
Cons:
- Sticky trigger reset
- Dinky safety selector
- Unusual receiver finish
- Price
