With ruger you can't go wrong.

I purchased this 10/22 Sporter because of the looks compared to the 10/22 Carbine. It's a personal thing for me. I like my rifles to have wood stocks and checking. Prefer real walnut and hand checking. But with today market on firearms they are had to find or to expensive.
Prepper's were very helpful in me buying my first firearm online, I just called in my order and it came direct to my FFL in four business days.
