Let me begin with a preface on this review. This review will need to be updated. I first saw the Zastava M70 ZPAP "Tiger Maple" on Atlantic Firearms and thought it was gorgeous. I wanted one - however it was out of stock and I thought this "tiger maple" was exclusive to Atlantic Firearms. Low an behold - I then noticed that the SKU ZR7762LM is what was on the "tiger maple" - however that on Prepper Guns Shop and others - they all contained the same SKU. When reading the wonderfully crafted description on Prepper Gunshop as well - I knew this was the same make/model in relation to the wood furniture. This would be my first AK - I wanted it to be awesome. So i was going to get the "Tiger Maple" - Actually Light Maple per descriptor as well as an Import AK. Jumped at the chance. So the review for the gun will need to come when i receive it from the FFL. Now if there is any issues with the gun itself - that is on the manufacturer and not Prepper Gunshop - will update once i receive it and can get around to actually shooting it which may be another 1-1.5 months from now. The 5-star review is not so much for the gun itself but for Prepper Gunshop. Kudos to them! - I was happy they had it in stock during the holidays. But what makes them a 5-star review was simply their customer service. I called in after the order was placed to get some info/details and that was handled well 2x. The item processed quickly. Since i had gone in and done the paperwork with my FFL - who was also on point, Prepper Gunshop also let me know they had received the FFL paperwork and shipped it within the next business day. Absolutely fantastic and since the process/customer service and all were great - They are now on my Go-To list as a first option. So again I just wanted to take the time to write to anyone who was on the site - Be sure that Prepper Gunshop is a first rate choice!
