One of the best AKs ...

One of the best AKs for the price especially right now in 2021. The gun feels great and you can't beat a bulged trunnion and chrome lined barrel. Also prepper gun shop is top notch. Bought the gun on a Thursday and had it in my hands the following Thursday. Definitely will be doing business with them again, and so will my buddies
Review of the Zastava M70 ZPAP with Hogue handguard

The Zastava M70 ZPAP is arguably the best affordable AK on the market right now. I have no complaints about the one I received. The Hogue handguard was very nice and I had no issue at all gripping onto it with its texturized rubber. The pistol grip also gave a good solid grip but I wish it was rubber like the handguard rather than plastic but that's just because of comfort. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that there was already a retaining plate installed in the rifle. If I had to complain about something though it would be the fact that it did not come with a cleaning kit only the cleaning rod, but AK47 cleaning kits are cheap and relatively easy to find. If you are looking for the best AK for the price then look no further because this rifle is for you.

Rifle received in great condition. First round at the range was great, no FTF, ringing an 8" plate at 100yds with no adjustment to the factory open sights. Looking forward to more range sessions. Prepper Gun Shop was the best online buying experience I have ever had. Excellent communication and very fast shipping. A truly top shelf outfit.
Great rifle, pretty good furniture

The gun is rock solid, great fit and finish. Slight cant to the sights, but not anything egregious. I can't speak on the handguard because I replaced it with a midwest, but the grip is fine, and the stock is much better than I expected. The cheek riser is pretty gimmicky though, and with plastic on plastic adjustment will most likely not hold up to really hard use. Overall a fantastic rifle for the price.
